A lot of Chinese tourists think that as long as they spend money at their destination that it makes up for rudeness.  Many places hate hosting Chinese tourists because they’re rude and filthy.

This is a tough one for me! I live close to my kids’ school, my gym, my kids’ after-school program, and some pretty decent restaurants. I’m also paying lower rent than most in my entire area.

Big comic book fan overall but not really familiar with Swamp Thing. What in the storyline or characters is the draw? Is it just campy horror? Is their a profound human element in its character? Really curious.

Haven’t seen the movie, but based on what you say, that makes it tragic.  We need realistic movies about love and sex because we all know how much fake shit is out there.  It’s not harmless either.  The amalgamation of all those fake representations produces very real expectations in the average individual.  

You’re so right on. But isn’t that true for every sex scene in a movie?  Everyone is doing crazy porn stunts on the go.  Women climax after two minutes, men do acrobatic stunts.  I’m convinced we’re all living out the false expectation of being the best at the first go.

I don’t like the X-Men movies that much but LOVE the scenes with Quiksilver.  The power of ultra-speed is one of the coolest powers ever and these were the first scenes that I felt did the power justice.  

I knew nothing about Zazie Beetz going into Deadpool 2 but was absolutely floored by her charisma and charm in the movie. I can’t remember the last time an actor’s personal magnetism impressed me that much in a movie.

I think the big part of the allure of Terminator 1 and 2 was the fact that in both movies, the villain was seemingly indestructible.

Why Guy Ritchie?  He’s not a great director, and not a good choice for children’s movies.  Tons of great directors with more relevant experience.  Just a strange, strange choice.
