I appreciate you sharing this. I’m going through something similar. It’s very frustrating for people who track, train, and sacrifice on an ongoing level to not have the results that work for others. Our bodies are a delicate ecosystem and simple sayings like “try harder, eat less” are not the cure.

Fuck yeah. I understand people’s desire for simple explanations in life but life is not simple, the human body is not simple, and to reduce life to a simple axiom is stupid and dangerous.

I don’t disagree that what Demps did was vindictive nor do I think he’s done a good job as a GM overall.
