1 single accident that lead to death, pretty sure I was clear about that. But even when you are talking about overall accidents, it is still less than the accident rate of an average car.

That makes no sense. The NHTSA has already said based on their preliminary findings they found no issues. They also have said they see no reason for shutting it off due to a single incident.

Not only that, but an internal combustion engine is limited in efficiency because it has to propel itself down the freeway. So weight is an issue — and weight isn’t a concern with fixed power plants.

Gasoline does have a very high energy density but also a very poor at mechanical efficiency. Only 20-30% of fuel is used the spin the crank shaft the rest is wasted from heat and friction.
