Father-in-law is a lawyer, he agreed it’s not worth the money they’d charge to arbitrate, then IF they did win, still have to pay the fee and possibly face eviction. He said it’s smarter just to cut and run.

It was something they added to the lease when I renewed at the start of the year. Based on what other neighbors have pieced together they’re subtly stacking up fees to push people out rather than having to go through the process of serving an eviction. We’re not the only ones falling victim.

Statistically speaking, based on a few different studies, a majority of CEOs either fall into a Sociopath or Psychopath category, a majority of those falling into the latter.

The thing that annoys me about it is having to buy a unique cable to fix a niche problem and the cable literally serves no other purpose for me. the only other thing I have that supports USB-Type C connections is my old Samsung Note 10 which I don’t use anymore.

When it comes to stuff like this, it’s not worth the risk. Electronics REALLY love to start fires, quite often aggressively with little to no warning.

The problem I run into however, is due to limited USB ports on the console I don’t have the option of using an external drive on my PS5 unless I go and buy a very specific cable to make use of the singular odd port on the console.
