Having worked for Nintendo back when the Wii U was new, I can vouch for the fact that Nintendo especially is pretty unforgiving for bad parenting.

I personally have a Gigabyte gaming laptop (it’s a few years old, has the nVidia 980M) and it’s super reliable, the only issue I’ve ever had with it was the OS got corrupted once with an update (from Microsoft) and I had to reinstall Windows, but since it’s exclusively a gaming laptop I didn’t lose anything valuable…
