I have the feeling that had it not been for Hungary, Silverstone and the blown tire, Max woulda been far enough ahead in points that this drama would not have happened in the first place...

so the best option is still the LG C1 — the fact that it costs a couple of hundred dollars more than the X90J + that I will still need to buy a chromecast is what’s keeping me from pulling the trigger on the LG C1

I don’t like gaming in brightly lit rooms — I was just hoping not to rely on a dongle for my streaming needs.

Do you think Sony will get the HDMI 2.1 thing sorted out with a new gen of chips?

At the end of the day, this guy’s sentence will likely be more than the combined sentence of every Jan 6 “tourist”.

I got PS5 versions of FF7R and FF7RIntergrade, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Judgment and Lost Judgment — I also got all the PS4 versions of rest of the Yakuza series. I also don’t have much time to play so this lack of games has not affected me at all.

I’ve been looking to upgrade my 6 year old vizio tv — I do need to now that I have a PS5.

I know spec wise, the LG C1 blows the mid-range Sony Bravias (like the X85J and X90J) out of the water, but I hate the LG smart tv software.

From what I read, some of the issues are due to the 1st gen MediaTek chip they’re using to process HDMI 2.1 — so the best option is the LG C1 OLED in that case? Am I correct in this assumption?

Only thing I hate about that is that I was hoping to use the googletv that is included in the sony tvs -- meaning I’d have to

I thought there had been a firmware update for both Bravia tvs mid November in order to enable VRR for PS5s plugged in to those HDMI2.1 ports.

From what I understand the Sony Bravias X85J and X90J do comply with HDMI 2.1 as its meant to be. Am I correct?

I think the best argument against your thesis on how weeb hate is responsible for the cancellation of your beloved show is that Netflix’ She-Ra show got waaaaaaaaaay more vocal hate and still got 5 seasons.

Or how Netflix has not cancelled Dave Chappelle...

I can’t wait for this kind of dialogue

And the Movie is supposed to take place in the middle of the season.

You’re just to hung up on trying to convince people that the live action show was just as good as the anime and react negatively when people don’t agree with you.

I’d say I’m sorry that you feel I wasted your time, but with that attitude, I don’t think I am — because you still think I should be happy consuming media I

Ad hominem much? I’ve never once attacked you. I told you I gave the show a chance over several episodes and I just couldn’t get into it.

I’ve never gone to the boundingintocomics website, why would I want to associate with gamergater trash? I did run straight into the script coordinator twitter account though when someone on my TL retweeted her.

Also, my assessment is not even that original, comics writer/illustrator Jen Bartel had a long thread that

I just hope Masi is gone after this year.

I can’t argue with that. But again, there’s so much about other shows that I could criticise just the same, and they didn’t get cancelled.

I’m questioning why they didn’t consume it enough to be part of a metric that saved it from cancellation, and inferring the reasons myself.

Also, I’m being reductive when I say to divorce the two, what I really mean is to judge the show without expecting it to beat the anime or mimic it word for word.

A cheap show made for a niche in a niche in a niche can go on for a few seasons with a small audience. Costly shows can’t. So again, I’m not sure why weebs should bear the brunt of the blame.
