Indeed, they are. But seriously, Perry already needs to do some reevaluating in her life and now you want to fight with someone that you could have potentially babysat for? Wine and cats, Perry. Wine and cats.

Perry and I are the same age, and as a 30 year old, I feel that I should not be fighting with people in their 20s (or fighting with people, period. There's too much wine in need of drinking and too many cats in need of belly rubs.)
Its the same concept as being mad at the other woman when a man cheats on you. BE MAD AT THE RIGHT PERSON.
Right? She is like the most passive aggressive bitch in the world! I was willing to shrug off all the kissing and telling, because basically any songwriter does that to some extent, but this is just beyond. Grow some balls, Tay, and settle your scores in person.
She probably means confrontation because she sure does love dissing people through song.
you would not believe how much I hate conflict.
Taylor is a bit of a drama queen about this. Katy hired 3 dancers away from Taylor - wouldn't/shouldn't the people Taylor be mad at the actual dancers? I read elsewhere that at least 2 of the dancers had been with Katy for years prior and that was part of the reason she wanted to go back. One of them stated that…
That poor woman! She must feel so unsafe in her own space now. And knowing New York, she's probably had hell trying to find another space and is already sharing it with tons of other people.
Seriously, revenge porn bothers the shit out of me so much. I wish everyone who is a rabid consumer of these revenge porn sites gets punched in their genitals.
Haha I completely know what you mean. I've got some over-active empathy triggers (not across the board, but language is one). It's all fine and good until you meet someone with a REALLY thick accent mixed with a change in vocabulary. I don't even want to know what I sound like once I start shifting to other…
I am too, and it makes me wonder how other people can live in a different region for decades and retain their accent. Mine is dropped in less than a year, without trying.
For me this doesn't even take months. I've gone away for a long weekend and had my folks complain about my accent when I got back. Heaven forbid I ever moved that far away from Philly (and our wooder)
Same here - it's annoying (to me). I just want to sound like myself! I actually read something awhile back that indicated this trait was linked with empathy. It makes sense, but what a weird way to express it.
I'm an accent chameleon. Put me in another region for a few months, and I will start to sound like I'm from there. I do it subconsciously, and start to mimic the language patterns I hear every day. My Northeastern relatives tell me I've totally lost my Northeastern accent, and it makes me kind of sad.
Aww, my engagement ring came in a light-up box! It was pretty helpful, as my husband proposed in a theatre after the performance of a show I was in, and all the house lights weren't up yet.
As a current fancy pants jeweler, I loved your story and am now jealous that I do not have a "the engagement ring I designed was mistaken for an explosive" story. =(
Story time! Once upon a time I was a fancy pants jeweler who sold fancy pants jewelry, 99.9% online. So I had fancy pants jewelry boxes that lit up, much like the one shown in this image, creating an absolutely dazzling first impression of my work. One of my favorite customers called me laughing her ass off over the…
Good for you, for being brave enough to make a move and mature enough to accept that he wasn't interested. It's not easy to put yourself out there. But overall, four times is not bad at all. You shouldn't feel bad at all.
Which is why she doesn't. I don't even feel like she friend-zoned him. He met her as his best friend's girlfriend and treated her like crap so that she wouldn't ever find out. He acts pretty honorably up until the moment he tells her, which he never would have if she hadn't figured it out accidentally (which she is…
