Ugh, Lena Dunham:

At this point, I feel like there is literally no ending that will be satisfiying to anyone. They all die? Meh. They all live? Meh. It was a secret alien invasion the whole time and there is big final battle with UFOs and lasers? Well... now I’m interested....

Yeah, I think at this point I am looking for a happy ending. I really say this thinking about all zombie movies and shows. I want to see civilization return, attempts to wipe out the zombies, maybe a cure to prevent more zombies, nation building, etc. I mean what happens when survivors from Mexico clear an area and

Everything about this is fucking disgusting.

When other inmates need to be protected for their own safety, they are thrown in solitary.

You realize you’re trying to defend a guy who was speeding on purpose, with a bus filled with children, and killed five of them. The guy deserves all the slander that can be thrown at him.

Does Tidal even have any money money to pay a settlement with this poor woman?

Well of course they’re in it for the paycheck - that’s why people have jobs.

Except the analogy fails. A tornado is a genuine natural event with little ability of humans to impact it. I can see how people could see some kind of supernatural force present there, because there are factors beyond our control. This is NOT one of those cases. This was preventable. This was an act totally driven by

To be fair, and I do agree with you that sensationalism in media is a problem sometimes, the headline does read ‘MAY have asked’. Not ‘DID ask’.

I can understand and partly sympathize with you’re saying, but “...after what she’s been through” sticks in the craw at this time.

I understand what you are saying however there are actual facts that support this narrative. The driver was previously cited. The mother mentioned had repeatedly expressed concerns over the bus driver’s conduct and behavior. So I don’t think it is irresponsible reporting, I think it is irresponsible driving.

I don’t see why she had to apologize to begin with. That picture is old and was used without her knowledge. It wasn’t FOR the magazine. They just paid for the rights to it. It’s the magazine’s fault.

The model’s apology sounds sincere, but seriously, the editor is still blaming her mistake on other people.

a big ol fuck up followed by some decent apologies / basic accountability feels like an honest to God palate cleanser at this point.

Rachel Dolezal’s modeling career is off to an auspicious beginning.

Definitely wish I’d saved the receipt.

Yeah, I really can’t get with the subtle slagging on people who want to be optimistic or try to make positive changes in their life. Even if the result is someone who is annoying sappy, that’s not really something I want to discourage people from trying to do.

I think I’m this girl and I don’t want any of it except the desk thing.

I’ve seen one episode of his show. (I wasn’t staying at home and when I went downstairs my step sister had it on.) Anyways, it was a teenage girl talking about her stepfather sexually abusing her and Dr. Phil had them both on. The stepdad was obviously like “no no I never did that,” and Dr. Phil seemingly sided with
