All I want to say is in addition to the Blade Runner director’s cut which was already mentioned, the Alien 3 director’s cut is loads better than the theatrical version, definitely definitive, ha.

Yeah... Getting kinda obnoxious, what’s up with that? Just call it what it is, 16-bit. At least they aren’t just calling anything pixelated “Minecraft” like old people do?

I second Streets of Rage 2, always fun to go back to.

The SSX game on PS3 is actually really good, scratches that Tricky itch. Great soundtrack too. Might be the only HD game we get in the series.

Totally... I mean, didn’t Deus EX already do basically this exact First Person w/ little Third Person moments formula while also being kinda cyberpunk / futuristic? Pretty sure this news just halved their audience for this game.

As someone who finds first person very hard to play and enjoy (unless it’s actually VR) I wish every game would simply give you the option (just like in racing games) to switch views. So you make it one (playable) view and one view only and cut out an entire segment of your potential audience that prefers third

Yeah, I was excited at the prospect of playing this again (never did beat it) when I got my Vita, knowing there’s loads of PS1/PSP games available for download, only to find out it was not one of them. Of all the games! It had to be the only one I really cared about. Sad panda.

And yet still no PS Vita version or even PSP version available as a digital DL.

Still can’t beat Diablos, still haven’t made HR 11, still no Aloy [even after event came back for Spring], still sad :( this game... stuck at HR 9. The balance of controller throwing frustration to fun is tipping in the wrong direction, so grind, much time, so hard, ugh.

Goddam, right? As an Asian American I loathe that so-called “classic” and it haunts me to this day when Google calendar has ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ as a default entry, like are you effing kidding me?!

STUN Runner was the single best reason to own a Lynx. Loved that game ever since playing in the arcade, I believe the Lynx version was the only port ever made? The smaller model of the Lynx was pretty great too BTW.

True. “The real issue is that wages haven’t grown relative to inflation & cost of living in the US since the 70's.” Wages have not changed for at least the last 20 years while the cost of living just keeps going up.

Without even reading the article, unequivocally Yes. I was stunned when I found out a coworker paid @ $16,000 for a new Chevy Spark. Are you friggin kidding me? That thing barely even qualifies for a car. A tiny P.O.S. for what I viewed as the price one would pay for say a Honda Civic (who’s design and price has

meanwhile on Polygon... a very different take

lol, let’s all agree to never using the word “Ethlete” ever again

yes and no? while Grave of the Fireflies was almost entirely gut wrenching, this one just gets more like that towards the end, see other poster about mostly slice-of-life. Day to day of the main character, during that period, in it’s particular location. I’d watch it again.

Amazing anime movie, saw it on a plane - big ups to Asian airlines like Cathay Pacific for having anime & Kung-Fu flicks along w/ anytime cup-ramen for snack, hell yeah!

part of me wishes they would put a hunter rank disclaimer at the bottom of these, ha. man this game is tough! still trying to reach rank 11 for the Aloy quest... adulting n’ all. it’s like they make the series for kids or NEETs or something ;p

Oh man, of all the PSP games playable on PS Vita - this one is not on the PSN store, even just having that would be great.

Also note if you want to use an external USB 3.0 hard drive, place it as far away from the system as possible to help keep it from throwing your controller’s bluetooth connection completely out of whack. Weird but true.
