I’m only invested because the whole point of Ley’s article is that this style of writing seems to be almost exclusively male because women are expected to be explicit almost to the point of absurdity. Then a bunch of commenters say, “No but what about women they totally do this too” and yet you and a bunch of others…

That is not what Ley was talking about with his article. That is explicit about its topic and gives several examples about the exact thing it was discussing, whereas Ley’s examples show men writing about purposefully vague “bad” concepts they have done and not explicitly saying what they have done. Try again.
