You wanna bet me she will have a HUGE second baby shower? I got shade for having a baby with someone who had two kids before (not with me, obviously) and that was 8 years ago with their youngest. But people here try to throw these huge second showers as if we owe them presents and painful attendance twice. You get

Every time I read the word “sponcon”, I have to remind myself what it means. My brain wants so badly to read it as ‘spoon con’ and think “Who has a convention for spoons?!”

Change and new things are stressful, even when they’re thoroughly positive. That stress takes a lot out of a person and is very tiring. It should ease up once you’re comfortable in the job and feel at home there.

My roommates’s cat has a foot fetish. She is always rubbing her face on our feet and sometimes she does it to our shoes right after we get home.

This is the first, and I’m guessing last, time I have ever said to myself, “Good for you, Shia Labeouf!”

“I’m so tired lately. Thank god for the weekend.”
*from the other room*
“Aww, thanks babe!”
“Damn it, I didn’t mean you!”

This is the saddest story.

aw heck.

Wow, who would have guess the National Park Service would be the progressive badasses?

GET ‘EM CONSTANCE!

I’d go with 30s Ginger Rogers. Nobody rocked a feather trimmed gown like Ginger!

I’m seeing classic 1930s film glamour. Which was created to get people’s minds off the Great Depression. Myrna Loy would have rocked any of these looks.

It’s almost like any celebrity who maintains a certain level of visibility, no matter how innocuous or aligned with people’s values, gets Anne Hathaway’d after a certain amount of time. It flummoxes me.

Wasn’t it so nice to see a character, particularly a girl, get told “whatever decision you make I’ll still love you?” Oh my god, how nice would it have been to hear that when I was contemplating leaving my first college (physics) for a liberal arts program.

The Moana music is SO good. Cried like a baby.

PS- “you’re welcome” from Moana is also better than many songs inLaLa Land. In my house, we sing it every time we thank each other. I just don’t know why I can’t like LALa Land. I love musicals and I love Ryan Gosling. I just can’t like it

I like Auli‘i Cravalho’s version better.
