the 80s were also more carefree. I was born in the 90s so I don’t know first hand what it was like.

He has been in a mid-life crisis and wants desperately to go back to the 80s like every other boomer.

Arguably, Johnny Depp is a much better actor than Bruce Willis. But it would appear Bruce is a far better human being. I think he will start doing independent films about aging rockstars or artists.

i mean he probably wants to go back to the 90s, in the 80s he was still breaking in between jump street and small movies.  90s he got to be a hot star and get acclaim for rolls.  Probably even would like the early 2000s right after pirates when studios were just tossing money at him.

I’ve come to understand that expecting there to be average set of behaviors. Yes, many people could do some minor research to find out more about her specific situation. Just as many people would not have Googled her and moved on with there day.

I will say that article in WaPo, it wasn’t “alluding to him”. We all knew without a name exactly who it was referring to because it was published after he’d already sued her for her allegations.

He’s requesting (x) millions of dollars out of her. She has never and will never make that kind of money. It is purely for his ego.

Yeah, as before, I think he was the “main” abuser. Unfortunately, if you fight back you can get accused of abuse, in turn, so there’s no winning if you are a victim. I think her details of their time together are more clear and consistent while he, despite his saying otherwise, was high or drunk most of the time and…

I remember reading an interview with him when The Rum Diaries was coming out, talking about how much he idolized Hunter S. Thompson as if that were anything but a massive red flag. Most people eventually grow out of the culture that glorifies overconsumption of booze and drugs; Depp clearly never did.

They abused each other. This is established. Depp is trying to prove that he didn’t abuse her ergo it’s defamation that she would imply he did.
