Different tastes, I suppose, as CR easily has the worst art of this group.

I'd rather not eat shit but thank you for the thoughtful suggestion.
It surprises me that people so often complain about the lame but harmless Clueless Hero when Corpse Run is here being both unfunny and really dumb. At least CH is kinda cute sometimes which is more than CR ever brings to the table.
I mean, I don't run a major corporation so I'm sure I don't know what I'm talking about, but isn't releasing *something* usually more profitable than releasing nothing? I so don't understand the constant cancelling at what seems like the slightest setback. It's like....is there an opposite to the sunk cost fallacy?
Wow, nationalizing Amazon sounds like such a spectacularly terrible isea......
I mean, I get where you’re coming from, but doesn’t it feel weird to you that if some independent creator manages to create a game that becomes a big hit with Dreams, MM will make lots of money and the actual game desiner will make nothing? That just feels so wrong to me. Any kind of compensation or reward or even…
Jeez. Considering that this is apparently a stunningly robust creation tool, I really hope Media Molecule set up some kind of system where creators can sell their work. At least have some option to give creators donations. I know a lot of people create just for the shear love of creating, but it doesn't seem fair if…
You posted what I was going to say. It’s something that really bothers me in a lot of modern game design that the only way many game designers of non-pvp games have found to keep people playing ling term is to give them a variety of gradually increasing stats. Now, that’s a little bit of an oversimplification, sure,…
Pokemon fans are weird. 🙂
As someone who doesn't much care for anime art in general....hey, those are pretty cool! 🙂
Wow, surprised that he doesn’t get more say than that. I would have thought he at least gets veto powers.
A short version of your point, which I generally agree with, is that Nintendo does lots of dumb things but rarely does malicious things. Someone being dumb may makes you kinda irritated, but it’s not going to make most people angry.
It’s funny to me how almost all the criticism of D3 these days is about the lame, goofy tone. While that stuff is totally worth mocking, I do think some of that gets overplayed as there were *some* parts were they got the tone close to right (mainly the environmental art design is mostly quite good and appropriately…
This feels really weird to me because, doesn’t Blizzard have anybody within their company that they feel they can hand Diablo to?
I like Kotaku a lot but that urge to find ways to criticize everything you can is definitely a thing round here (even more than most of the internet). My theory is that it’s something wannabe intellectuals do to make themselves feel smarter than everybody else, and this website sure does cater to wannabe intellectuals.
As soon as I saw the headline my first thought was “I wonder what the Kotaku comment section will find to make negative comments about”. And yup, not disappointed.
Awww, boooo. Man, are there any good tactics games on the PC that are more akin to this style? I’ve been looking around for some but it feels like most of the ones on PC take their inspiration from XCom and I'm not that into that style. It's weird that we're not littered with FFT clones considering how beloved that…
I mean, I'd still love to see Mario on XBox myself so.......
I don’t play OW but man, maybe it’s just how people talk about it but it sure seems like the more stuff that they add and change and adjust, the less popular the game gets. Maybe they shoulda just left well enough alone and left it as is way back when it was first released and everybody seemed to love it....
So would you consider literally any amount of people angry about something a controversy? If a million people buy Thing A but 37 of them are really angry about Something, you would consider that Something controversial? I sure wouldn’t.
