There is a difference between someone who wants their ego stroked, and wants you to let them in though. I know lots of women with the same complaint: “they just can’t handle an independent woman!” But as the relationship got serious they (the guy) tried to be vunerable and caring, and she never reciprocated. I lost a

My problem is that a guy who acted like Tracy is describing herself would be seen as borderline ABUSIVE. In another thread someone said it better, “what we are calling a ‘challenging woman’ would be an ‘abusive’ man” (or they said it very close to that). The jealousy over the exes, the verbal abuse, this is some very

AGreed. I have LOTS of exes in the town I grew up in, but in my defense, there were actually only 40 boys my age, in my class. So it seems like a ton to have 5 exes there.

I’m not sure if that gif has anything to do with this. But I ship these two SO HARD. I want someone to eat a biscuit at me the way Tormund does at Brienne.

Except Sanders had no chance of winning the General Election before, during or after the Primary. People do like him because he seems “authentic,” but that isn’t enough to win.

But Bernie Sanders has no chance of winning either. Not in the Primary, and CERTAINLY not in the General Election! Sanders polls worse than TRUMP in the General!

But you are making the same mistake that Al Gore made, the same the Jimmy Carter and John McCain and George HW Bush made: merely being “qualified” for the job isn’t enough. George HW lost to a Charming Southern Boy, not a more qualified person. Al Gore lost to “a guy you would have a beer with,” not a more qualified

No, she hasn’t. And even more so, Obama got shit tons of stuff done and played golf: are you really trying to tell the General Election voter that being qualified for the role is enough to fill it? John McCain was qualified (more qualified than the guy who won in 2008), Mitt Romney was qualified. So were Al Gore and

That is a very flawed way of looking at this.

But it ISN’T absurd. Male politicians have had to run on “likeability” for at least as long as I have been alive. Ronald Reagan was grandpa, Bill Clinton the charming Southern Boy, George W Bush “would have a beer with you,” Barack Obama loved basketball AND GOLF! and had all this trouble quitting smoking.

The reason she gets more shit about that crime bill was because Bernie didn’t support it for the criminal law part of it. There were other add-ons to the bill that he supported, and he spoke against the racist policies in the bill and has stated he only voted for it to get his other stuff passed.

You are wrong about reasons to dislike her. You listed hawkishness, but also she was against LGBT rights until it was cool, she supported racist policies in the justice system, and her record on tax reform and school reform isn’t as left as the left would like.

But, she is, so there is really no legitimate reason why her unfavorables

But, again, male politicians have made what you are calling “hobbies” central parts of their signaling for several election cycles. George W Bush would “have a beer” with you, Reagan was your granddad, Bill Clinton the Charming Southern Boy, Barack Obama played basketball and had the hardest time quitting smoking.

Here is what I think you are missing: most male candidates have to make a show of how warm and personable and friendly they are to be considered for the Presidency. George W Bush famously made it the center-piece of his campaign, as did Ronald Reagan. Bill Clinton also had to be a “jovial Southern Boy” while he

This reminds me of a story that was told right here on Jezebel about a woman who, after eating some pizza with hot peppers on it, 69'd with her boyfriend.

Kourtney is confused about her sister’s complete lack of understanding in regards to one of our nation’s greatest toppings.

It’s not that Usher is forcing him to stay. It’s that he has nowhere else to go. And I know that sounds ridiculous, but Justin has been in this business since he was a kid. It’s literally his only marketable skillset (he never went to college). And everyone he knows, everyone he hangs out with, everyone he does

Yah this is so completely not the case. Yes White Men were all those, but white women, as community leaders, as culture makers, and yes even as politicians and civic leaders have participated in racism and oppression. Heck, white women even profited (directly!) from slavery and even killed slaves themselves.

Wow, woooowwwwww. White women are so obsessed with authenticity that whole brands exist entirely around the notion of selling white women “authentic” food, clothing, and experiences. How have you missed this?
