Soooooooooooo in other words they dont think the price of the game is worth it then? So you just agreed with my argument and further proved my point.

Im gonna answer both post in one to save space. To answer your question:
Piracy never leads to lost sales and here’s why:
People pirate for three reasons:
The people who pirate would have never paid for the game in the first place.
Denuvo is a paper shield. The people that are going to pirate a game were never going to pay for it because they think the price for that game is not worth it to them. The industry doesn’t want to change to allow for more flexible pricing schemes because they are greedy. Denuvo is just a huge waste of time and…
The difference here is that Rage Arts are an integral part of the game now. It would be equivalent to removing supers from street fighter or X-Ray moves from Mortal Kombat. It’s not the same as adjusting your aim preference or button configuration. It would completely change the way the game is played.
The way the supers were implemented in Soul Calibur was pretty shitty tho.
That is normal Tekken now Bro lol. Don’t like it, go back to Tekken 5?
Most of the customization from Tekken 6 are in there, just truncated. I guess over time they can add more. I personally never really cared for character customization all that much ( especially since in Tekken 6 they forced you to wear the most ridiculous stuff to get stat bonuses in Tekken Force mode) but given how…
It’s just as much a crutch as it is a tool. You have the same abilities, most rage arts are easy enough to counter. GRanted the only reason this is in the game to give lesser skilled players a bit of a chance in competing and have a bit more fun with the game. On one hand, i appreciate the added level of strategy it…
I mean it was but Tekken 7 is pretty close to it gameplay wise. Rage arts add a bit more complexity and visual interest to the mix. Ultimately Tekken lives and dies on its ability to attract people who aren’t Tekken Fans . Rage arts are visually more interesting to look at than standard tekken fights as Tekken for the…
Thats not entirely true. There are plenty of ways sony could do it cheaply and cost effective and even free. The problem is, and this true for all console manufacturers is that if they allowed backwards compatibility they won’t be able to sell you “remastered” editions at a significant markup. If you could just pop…
Don’t do that. This isn’t a Nintendo thread, where their rabid fanbase will always argue that having less is better.
Virtua Fighter has always been a technically brilliant but exceedingly boring game to look at and play. Soul Caibur got too goofy for its own good and essentially turned its back on everything great that Soul Calibur 2 brought to the table. Dead or Alive was sorta always Trash (sorry just being honest) and so it…
Superficial bullshit that takes hours and hours to make and does nothing to enhance the core game play experience. I’d rather they spend resources polishing and optimizing existing assets rather than spending time on creating a series of goofy customization most people will never see. I actually hated the…
So you want to go back and play Tekken 5 again is what you’re saying ?
Ehn no... Virtua fighter needs a serious injection of charisma. Virtua fighter doesn’t even have character endings or even intro cinematics. Virtua fighter is purely about the arcade experience. Virtua fighter hasn’t ever featured any sort of story mode, ever... Are you sure you aren’t confusing DOA with…
Alot of that has to do with the fact that people don’t communicate or work together or get bent out of shape because you’ve asked them to switch strategies or swap characters. If people maintained the mindset that hey ! this is a team game and we should all work together to try to win then things would go alot…
Pathetic.
Alot of people are recommending the NRS games like Mortal Kombat and Injustice but they don’t really play like other fighting games and have fairly shallow mechanics that emphasize style and marketability over substance (which is the case for most american fighting games). Having said that, Tekken and other Veteran…
