Why is this the first thing I thought of when seeing that picture?

Different director and actors every time, they can make it like the Simpsons couch gag.. Particularly looking forward to the Aardman Animation version, with Wallace as Peter and Grommit as Aunt May.

Looking at this picture, it occurred to me that a slightly modified Batman costume would be the perfect Green Goblin outfit. In that they're both billionaires, they both wear high tech armor and use throwing weapons and bombs, and they both wear pointy ears when dressed as their alter egos. And they zip around on

The best concept art is startling in its style and clarity—look at Ralph McQuarie or Syd mead. They inspire everyone, even though everyone knows that what they'll achieve on film

I just don't get why they are so scared of just doing a straight up creepy goblin mask. They either make him into some sort of bioengineered freak or they go for the power rangers look. It's one of those things where they try to change it up for the movie and wind up making it look worse, not better.

Having the absolute best Green Goblin possible would have only added a tiny glimmer of sparkle to that turd of a film.
