I dunno...I find Wanda Sykes and Linda Cardanelli (I know I spelled her last name wrong) both very funny.

I love comedy from John Mulaney to Dave Chapelle and everything in between. It’s not comedy if it’s not funny. Thats all that should really matter. Her dress size her sexual preference means fuck all when it comes to something being funny or not. Fortune Feimster is a lesbian comedian fucking hilarious same with Jessic

It’s...okay? I mean I laughed here and there but I am part of the ‘Patriarchal’ and getting lectured to for what felt like forever gets a bit old. I’m sure if you’re her target audience you probably will enjoy this, but after a while I was just bored.

She starts with the laughs coming a mile a minute, teeing up jokes and then knocking them out the park

Aww it’s okay, maybe she’ll end all comedy this time.

It’s somewhat refreshing that he asked for, rather than demanded, special treatment, and (apparently) didn’t make a fuss when the answer was “no.”

It’s almost like the skills that make you a good driver, athlete, soldier, et cetera, aren’t the same skills that make you good at playing video games where you pretend to do those things! Who knew?

So we’re now calling it ‘reassuring’ instead of ‘mass suicide’ when things reopen or go back into production? Last I checked, there’s been no ‘all clear’ from any official agency in regards to the virus.

Some common sense would be nice, for a change.

Apparently she does a fair amount of voice work — including a Bob’s Burgers a couple weeks ago.

You seem fun.

You’re the one who couldn’t figure out the meaning of an ancient cliche. But sure, my bad.

Yeah that stood out to me, too. Sure, Louis CK is persona non grata now and a giant fuck up, but in a piece talking in part about FX’s strong reputation for quality, leaving off Louie is a pretty big omission. Arguably that and The Shield put FX on the map in terms of critical acclaim. Plus the line seems pretty direct

Just watched it. If there was an AV Club reviewing the show back in 1978, that episode would have been shredded. Just awful.

There was no mention of Louie either, without which we probably wouldn’t have gotten Atlanta & Better Things (and possibly this very show, although I haven’t watched it).

Thanks, it was already brought up in the piece.

And this is why executives shouldn’t be allowed to meddle. The CEO thinks their idiot kid’s lone opinion is the equivalent of rigorous market testing.

“Bouchard has taken years of occasional shit for voice casting men to play Linda and Tina”

Sure, a guy who changed cinema in a ton of ways, super successful and able to write great parts that win Oscars makes shit.

I’ll take issue that “America” owes her anything. She was a nominal plaintiff, and there would have been another one very shortly thereafter, same as the other nominal plaintiffs in landmark cases. Instead, those who directly profited off depicting her or her story owe her some debt. Further, you could make the

You know how sensy the kids are these days. I’m sure there’s a GoFundMe being started for that poor victim Zack Snyder right now.
