I didn't catch the first part, but smart cool and funny makes me think of Hollywood Handbook so I dunno where I stand.

I'd say it's worth checking out only if there weren't so many other shows worth checking out right now…
Plus It's Always Sunny, Archer, Atlanta, and American Crime Story (though I'm not positive they can pull off a good second season, we'll see).
There's no way FX will become AMC without FX's executive talent leaving. What they've pulled off isn't luck, AMC's was pure luck (FX even passed on Breaking Bad because they didn't want another white male anti-hero despite really liking the script).
Are we having fun yet!?
Or spend your life savings to see it live!
But I just added it to my watch list because of the article about it :(
Eyes are a hell of a thing that I think we're still a bit from cracking. I don't believe in souls but there's definitely something missing from CG characters when you look at their eyes.
It's on par maybe even better. I think you should be good as long as you aren't consciously thinking about it (or maybe it doesn't bother you anyways).
I really wish I didn't because it ruined all of his scenes for me. I didn't even know they were going to have a CG character like that and he immediately stuck out at me.
Well for me if I can't take a performance seriously the scene is basically meaningless. I can ignore plot points for the sake of story, but it's just not enjoyable to watch a poor performance and I struggle hard to stay engaged.

It's not that they're trying to trick us into thinking they brought someone back to life, but they had the hubris to think they pulled off the illusion of a…
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is, 'God is crying.' And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is, 'Probably because of something you did.'
I was worried this wouldn't actually be very good, but it's Tom Hardy and FX so fuck it I'm watching at least a couple episodes anyways.
Man I read the original Something Awful thread this guy came from back in the day and I can't believe he's still a thing. I wonder if the original poster gets royalties on any of this stuff.
A first run theater near me is $6 until 6pm everyday, $5 all day Tuesdays, and gives free popcorn on Wednesdays. Those prices also include 3D. It's madness!
You're forgetting the girl in the hallway on the ship. I was actually nervous where that scene was going.
They could have Esther Povitsky who played her assistant step in.
I have favorite shows on both networks…I'm glad they both exist. I think in terms of hits to misses FX destroys anyone else though.
