This is my local GameStop, no joke.

Totally agree. I always feel awkward in a Gamestop. The people there seem more like robots than humans. As you said, this isn't necessary them personally, but the crazy conditioning by Gamestop on what to say, when to say it, how to say it, etc.
Most times, when you go to a game store, it’s likely to the blandest of interactions. Jingle that doorbell, chat up…
I live in the East Valley area of Phoenix (Tempe/Mesa/Chander/Gilbert,) and I'm telling you right now it is not unusual to go into Gamestop and just feel that the employees are a bit....off.
Bigoted, Bombastic Idiot SLAMS Transphobic, Bombastic Idiot
This interview was definitely a "We've got them both right where we want them, now release the bears!" moment.
You nailed both of them.
I think maybe he was tweeting during the commercial break? And totally ignored her like those assholes who check their phones while you're trying to have a conversation. That's what I got out of it.
He's a pompous, disrespectful blowhard who countenances spying and bullies guests. She a racist shit-stirrer who thinks she's advancing feminism by trolling and throwing other women she doesn't like under the bus, and then asking for dudebro points for being so "edgy" and "an equal opportunity offender". So I come…
I was just about to say this. He is an ass, and she is really just the worst kind of bottom of the barrel, "edgy" comedian who isn't really funny.
There is no one to root for in this scenario.
I've always felt these kind of live action commercials undermine any technical achievements in the game. If a regular guy saw this on TV, how would he know how good the game looks? That could be an ad for an NES game.
Never noticed the change before. I like the first model a lot more. It has so much more character.
I don't care if I suck at it. Just release the damn consumer version already. Another day, another Oculus article about this amazing toy that still doesn't have a release date. You are cruel Kotaku.
Really, you picked this image to go with a tsunami-related story?
Its a figure of speech and isnt to be taken literally. It just means i can empathise and imagine how hard it must be.
