Note to those confused: Myles McNutt is never wrong or even perhaps not sure or even, perhaps admittedly flawed. He says as much in the comments, so it must be true.
You might do it because you are human and people do that.
Look at the other way. Jenkins is asked to give a speech at CinamaCon. She’s being asked to speak about the current state of cinema, which is exactly this. A very specific crowd. 20 years ago, Variety and some film magazine might report it. Done. Now, it’s on AVClub and everyone thinks she’s a complainer.
Can I just say how wonderfully positive Wong is. It is just how I imagine him, even as he is playing a villain or a—hole or whatever. I can imagine him dishing and b-tching and it still feeling like love.
As many comments say or imply, ESPN sucks because they simply don’t value women. I have no doubt ESPN saw in Taylor someone who checked a few boxes (women, POC), whereas Nichols only checked one (woman).

I’m an Infinite Miner purist. So, no.
I want to enjoy Theron’s action movies but... don’t.
I really enjoyed the book, which I did not think I would. The tone was great and inviting, with the “monsters” being outcasts to be understood while white people in power were the monsters.
Hillary stan here.
Did the Pope care?
Those interstates, rail, airports and other transportation issues need to be fixed so all of the folks* who can’t get abortions in the south can zip easily to those states who still allow them.
This would be a great one-off season show, with a real end goal and storytelling idea. My fear is that, at the end of season one, they just play it out further.
My only knowledge of the Queen Mary is that it was the destination in movie GUMBALL RALLY, which I saw several times at the dollar theater when I was in fourth grade. Hilarious.
Parenthood changes you.
