In Burlington, VT the chief of police, fire, superintendent of schools and other officials have to live in the city as part of their job. There was a dust-up last year when the superintendent sought an exemption.

Agreed. Until yahoos begin wearing their MAGA hats during the anthem saying MAGA hats are exempt (but they’ll wear them backwards, because respect).
