Karma is actually a teaching tool in the Hindu and Buddhist religion, not payback. If you are a racist, say, the best way to learn about it is to experience it yourself (i.e., being reincarnated as a minority). Over many lifetimes you learn from experience.

So many movies I knew first because of MAD. My older sisters had them laying around and was exposed to so many R rated films through MAD—and ridiculous ones like Catch 22 and The Deep that no elementary school kid would even care about—a decade before I could legally go see them. 

I saw Airplane! in the theater (I’m old, but I was too young at the time to get the sexual humor of it) I got about half of the cultural references because ABC had all of the disaster movies on Sunday night (along with a Bond movie every month), including the Airport franchise.

I don’t believe, either.

The attack on Bernie is not about the harassment, but his lame response to it.

I was taken, at the time, how when the BernieBro thing was big, Bernie said nothing. Not a word. When he finally did, first he disavowed any connection to the campaign and finally, days later, gave a vague “everyone needs to be respectful” speech that wasn’t even a slap on the wrist.

Just remember that “something stupid” might be declaring a state of emergency, having some branch of something round up Dems or using weapons because Trump.

I came thinking this was a technical piece (you know, informative).  So, I’m asking my technical question: How do you charge your phone on a Switch charger?  Aren’t the heads different?

Bernie never takes direct responsibility for anything. He’s never wrong (just ask him). Everything is twisted, he didn’t know, it’s all gossip or a witch hunt. He’s Trump but with a good agenda.  He used to be a man of the people, but now he’s politics and Bernie and any criticism is an attack on the agenda.

Fuck Sanders.
