Benoit Blanc not being the protagonist is pretty consistent with how many Hercule Poirot stories were written. In most of the Poirot books, there is a main POV character and there is Poirot, and the two are not the same.

The idea of a movie franchise centered on someone who is essentially a supporting character in each film would be a pretty cool idea. Is there any franchise this could plausibly be said about? Maybe Jaws, in that the shark isn’t really the main character?
I’m surprised that, in 2020, people STILL seem to think that other people don’t see what you post on Facebook.
My gut told me Canada was just a temporary stop for the Sussexes. My gut also tells me Harry will be miserable in LA. So I’m going with my original prediction of five years, two kids and they’re done. Harry will head back to the UK and have to deal with “We told you so”. But I hope they prove me wrong.
I think you have a good point in giving some latitude for non-PC things. BUT, in the context of this movie, we have to acknowledge that this is very wrong and thanks to new laws very illegal.
Agreed. The main disservice to her is that 80s hair, which did no one any favours, young or mature. But even her outfit has this va-va-voom that some 20-something channeling Linda Evans could appreciate.
I’m confused: a big part of JLo’s job is to be incredibly hot. Her body is exceptional because she works incredibly hard to make it so—-it’s not impossible, just very hard. People do very hard things all the time when they have incentives to do so. I mean, folks are aware that she is a professional performer and…
It seems to be more and more common - people rush into relationships with former flings because they feel there is added security and like they can skip steps in the relationship?
Wait, why do we hate Jeff Bezos now? Because Amazon is an evil service we all use? Or because he’s a rare plutocrat willing to repeatedly attack the disaster in our White House? Or just cus he’s not cute?
But they have two kids so....artificial insemination?
I think with Pammy it’s more bad decision shaming - she’s had a few very short lived marriages, I think this is #3?
I don’t understand why there’s a dig at Nick Lachey. He’s clearly moved on from that time in his life, and near as I know, he’s never disparaged Jessica Simpson publicly since the divorce.
Can we please stop calling Jessie J a Jenna Dewan impersonator and other regressive bullshit when it comes to these two women? Why are we pitting them against each other because they dated the same man? It's so gross. Jenna is happy, Jessie is happy, they both have dark hair, let's move the fuck on. Dunk on Channing…
I am pretty sure his wife is black.
Damn is she transracial, because last time I checked his wife was black...
A lot of the in-depth profiles I’ve seen have pretty consistently noted that evangelicals may not like Trump’s moral flaws, but they are willing to set them aside as long as he continues to support “pro-Evangelical” policy. As long as they win in the long run, it doesn’t really matter how they get there.
She’s right.
Common mistake lazy people make: you never know who you are fucking with whence you begin to fuck with folks. That’s why you do your job properly and remember that a thing called social media exists.
I often wonder how much foreign money influences this?
One, Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae look fine as hell in this. Two, Michael Showalter’s directing? Cool! Three, if it’s half as good as Game Night, which I loved, then I’m in.
