Wait. Italians aren’t white anymore? To be honest I thought Ariana Grande was Latina until it was lampooned on SNL. It reminds me of a quote by Gina Torres where she says when she started acting she realized that the ‘world’ wanted Latinas to look Italian, not like her (Torres) Black.

In principle you are right...however, much like trump calling Omarosa a dog...it’s not only about him. It’s about all the other Black people being treated like crap as we navigate this world.

Which is strange. On the show she is usually wearing some OTT avante garde art piece on her feet! And she doesn’t shy away from heels. My guess is she relented, because they didn’t want her feet to be the focus in the photo!
