I think the new Genesis design language works best on this car. I think it’s because the grill doesn’t go down as far as on the G80 and G90, where it’s almost all grill and little else.

The Beam axle won’t matter for most buyers. And a recent Jalopnik article talked about how Mazda’s doing well even during the pandemic because they’ve finally started to reap the benefits of shifting to more upscale. In Chicago, I see way more Mazdas (especially the CX-5 and new 3) on a daily basis than I did just 4…
I think that’s what they’re doing. As for Skyactiv, it was really beneficial for them, It allowed them to compete with other brands in terms of fuel economy while still being lively engines still offered with a six-speed auto. I imagine if they would have seen higher MPG returns if they’d added more gears (I’d love to…
Because they want to push people towards the HR-V which in the last two years had nearly double the sales of the Fit. Considering they can sell that car at a higher margin, it makes sense for them to do this, even if we don’t like it.
My problem with this is they likely don’t tell you it’s not a factory option, that it hasn’t been crashed tested, and make you sign a waiver to not hold the dealer responsible.
I like the Sonata less and less each time I see it. As for the Silverado, it looks ok in pictures, but in person that front end is massive and all I can focus on. I think the K5 is fairly subtle compared to the other two, especially in the blue color.
That hood decal illustrates it perfectly, it’s not an “us vs them” situation, it’s “let’s join together to end our struggle.”
You really should tag those pics as NSFW
Surprisingly, my cheap set of Trico’s from Walmart have lasted two winters and show no sign of reduced performance. Compare that with the “premium” Bosch all season/summer blades I bought that started to fail within two months, streaking and skipping unless I was in a downpour.
It’s because investors have short-term memory and often no concept of a long term strategy. So if things go sour, regardless of the reason, companies have to put on public executions to show they are doing something, anything, to turn the company around, even if it’s just for show. I’d expect many CEO’s go into the…
I’ve heard nothing but bad things about Craftsman since it was sold. Generally hearing that you still pay basically the same price for much worse quality.
When I first heard about this, I thought it was crazy. Then I remembered that my first time driving was 5 minutes before I took my driving test and I got my license that day. Driving tests are honestly a joke and they don’t teach you anything really. I’ve learned far more from friends and family, such as highway…
An American made 1985 FWD Inline-8 Pickup truck with a Front-Mid engine layout called the Pazuzu that’s fun to drive but will rust horribly. Now bring on the targeted ads about cereal, chocolate ice cream, and Kermit and how they relate to ancient Mesopotamian demon kings.
That was my first thought. As someone that really likes that company, I really hope Toyota swoops in and buys them out if they can’t make it through this on their own. (Thankfully, Ford is in no position to buy them again)
This is what I always wish we had in this country. It would save so many citizens from the pitfalls of poor credit management, ultimately lowering the risk to lenders, in turn lowering interest rates across the board.
I think it would still be a negative impact, but maybe not as bad since you’re not showing months and months of non-payment which is what really hurts your credit. The issue is when they come to collect the difference of the auction and your remaining balance.
I thought the same thing (and I love my Mazda). 206HP out of an NA engine that doesn’t require higher octane gas is mighty impressive.
How do you get by?
This! Just like phones, we’ve hit diminishing returns on what’s needed on cars and they’re getting much more expensive to repair and maintain.
