I was seriously considering letting go of my 05 STi for this. But thanks to Subaru, at the last hour decided to leave the block internals unforged. So pissed at this. Same exact block as a base STi and charge 30k more? Nope.

Trump is 100% correct on this. Although I’m probably alone in this thinking on this website.

I daily an 05 STi, 168k on the clock and I beat the shit out of it. Not all are trash. The driver has a lot to do with these engines blowing.
