How can they review it without the day-one patch? Do they have access to it? Because I thought the system was completely, utterly useless without it.

I just recently got a PS3 - had a 360 since year 2 of the console. Not a "Sony pony" lol. I will say, however, that my PS3 looks nice enough to have downstairs on my cabinets in the living room. One cable to TV (HDMI) and one to wall. Very clean.

Funny. Despite this game being set decades and decades after the events of LttP, the enemies still decide to camp in the same spots as they did 5 generations ago.

I'll give Microsoft this much. They've done almost EVERYTHING wrong with announcing the system but they've been really good about listening to consumers.

Well Forza and Dead Rising are the only ones I care about so meh. The rest are available on every other system.

I'll be getting an Xbox One around launch because the TV features and Kinect are immediately relevant, and I'll be getting a PS4 2 years down the road once Naughty Dog and Quantic Dream have had a chance to get a next-gen game or 2 each out.

This generation will be more evenly matched. Due to all the changes the only thing that seems to set it apart is the TV interaction and kinect, both of which wouldn't make me miss out on any suckerpunch or naughty dog exclusives in the long run.
