Makes sense but then again, Apex Legends is from the same publisher and went under the radar but is huge in terms of polish.

Is it just me or is anyone else supremely disappointed that these big studios are dropping what, in previous generations of gaming would have been, flawless triple A titles except they’re marred with bugs and mediocrity? Why has this become such a norm?

Kotick is not telling the truth obviously. While Activision is doing well now, there are so many signs of trouble over the horizon they couldn’t ignore it.

I just seen the CEO just go 15 million in a bonus. Odd, why give a CEO a bonus like that, when things are falling apart. Don’t make sense.

That’s true, but it’s a hell of a lot harder for a company to arbitrarily lay off 8% of their workforce.

The pure ignorance in this comment section about business and how layoffs work is astounding. Just because some low level dev at Activision gets laid off doesn’t mean the company is failing and it doesn’t have anything to do with record profits. Even a company as big as Activision can’t just keep people around when…
