On one hand I totally agree. On the other hand it’s tough to take the allegations seriously if ones rights were only violated so much as to make them go away with a check.

Also, what guy describes women as basic? Are all the women taking photos of themselves sipping PSLs while jamming out to Taylor Swift?

Seriously - creeps and aggressive weirdos aside, women only seem to want to initiate contact in theory, not in practice.

there’s a couple outlandish claims for sure, but I’d love to know why you wrote this line: “But, as Bernadette Pasley illustrates, the rest of Priore’s tome is so wrought with inconsistencies and outright factual errors that it’s hard to take anything else in it seriously”

so you’re making the assumption that only effeminate people like baked goods and Olympic wrestling?

I just hope they find out the facts and a fair punishment that would fall in line with other punishments of such a nature (the football game part of it aside). If that means jail, then it does. Actually had something similar in basketball in my hometown years ago. Investigation ended up showing that head coach put the

you guess? This is how stupid bullshit gets around... approximately none of us were at this game and definitely not on the field. Parents and students from both sides are lobbing unfounded allegations against the other, and for you it turns into “I guess (insert allegation as something that happened).”

Texas high schools have multiple coaches up in the booth/press box area watching the plays, as well as multiple coaches on the sideline. It’s very possible the head coach didn’t know, but it’s next to impossible that no coaches knew.

Sadly, half the DS commentariat has no idea what you’re talking about. But I do. +1.

Well, considering we now know the two players here were named “Rojas” and “Moreno,” I’m guessing the person in the comments was just a racist troll who was assuming the players were black.

If you have counterpoint, feel free to enlighten.

Yeah because due of a lack of emphasis on high school football in Texas, teams typically don’t have enough staff on the sidelines to be monitoring everything that happens on the field...

After the wrong player was ejected, one of the assailants was kept in the game to commit another personal foul. That gives me the impression that the coaches were quite okay with what was going on.

“One play after the umpire was struck, a personal foul was called on Moreno for hitting the Marble Falls quarterback, who had taken a knee to run out the clock. Moreno was assessed a 15-yard penalty but was not ejected.”

they’re already giving it the old Makhtar Ndiaye effort eh?

We’ve received dozens of emails

No coach did not tell us to do it the officak called my team mates the n word

I was actively hoping I wouldn’t be writing about Washington’s football team again tonight

Please show your work.
