Call it a Couch?
Call it a Couch?
Moms, dads, and other young child caretakers who read Jalopnik see enough of that on a daily basis. I’m sure they don’t need to see any more and can take Matt’s word for it.
Worst forum shit storm ever seen? Easy. Go to any thread on Gawker or Jezebel, make a comment where you might appear to not be a left wing liberal nut job. You could tell them the sky is blue. However, if they even THINK you are a Republican (even if thats not the case), not only is the sky NOT blue, but you are an…
“This is not a car.”
This old joke is not funny. Women aren’t property and they don’t loose value because of milage. You might know this if you had ever had a relationship with a woman.
The Euro version of the Mk2 is much better than the NA car. Mine is a DD and it’s not turrible and gets 42mpg on the road. The Sync system isn’t bad either - despite how much people hate on it. Yeah sure it’s an appliance but it has a moon roof, leather and heated seats so I’m comfy on my way to work.
The Ford Fiesta sedan looks so bad. Everytime I see one I cringe. If you want to see another well-done hatchback-to-sedan, look at the Chevy Sonic. Arguably, the sedan actually looks better than the hatchback, but I’m not sure if that’s because the hatchback’s rear-end looks like they just chopped it off of the sedan.
The NA versions had a hideous interior.
I’ve always thought that looked okay. It’s nowhere near as bad as a Polo or a Nova.
Once again, misguided Euro-love going on here. Remember how diesels were SO great, and our enlightened European betters saw the light and we didn’t here in America? not so much now huh. Same with hatches. Europe has hatches instead of trunks because they have much less room to park. Not because they’re better. in 95%…
That was the hatchback version and I'm glad not much of these are on the streets anymore.
More like an Echo of its former self. Amirite?
My DD shakes it’s rump at you. (and yeah it’s not a completely sad car. It is kinda lazy looking though.)
So what you’re saying is you don’t Dzire this car?
Wow, did the squirrel survive being backed into?
I feel the same way about the GVF STI. That particular body was very obviously designed as a hatch, and the trunk just looks ugly and tacked on.
I always hated it, but solely for the big goofy pointed nose. Come to think of it, my opinion of the SLR would improve ten fold it it didn’t have the ugly beatlejuice nose.
No, that’s a fugly car. The Mercedes just really don’t photograph well.
Yeah still ugly. You can tell Toyota it’s ugly on the FT-1 as well.
Always liked it. Nothing wrong with being a mini SLR.
