Yeah, this site used to be the best for in-depth, thoughtful reviews... Now all we get is this recap garbage. Back when Allison Shoemaker and Alasdair Wilkins were writing for the site, I’d come here just to read their reviews. Now I just visit out of habit.

It’s not a problem, the hijinks were great, and then became even better once you realized the depth of the characters layered underneath them.

A lot of the time a slow burn gives us time to get invested in the characters and the basic story while letting the mystery build over the first 1/3 or so. It’s asking a lot…

It’s not a pile of garbage, it’s just that the majority of people making these comments are just knee-jerking to articles like this one. I can’t think of a single game that offers what D2 does as a package, which is why people still play it.
