The blatant issue is with any that include animals as characters.  You can’t make them photorealistic AND imbue them with any degree of personality.  The two are fundamentally incompatible, as we’ve seen over and over.

The hyper-realism stuff is so bad. People remember the cartoon versions because they have distinct looks and can emote in fun, cartoony ways. These are just literally photorealistic animals and you can do almost nothing with them.

No director who says something this moronic should be allowed anywhere near any historical work. This quote is offensive in its stupidity.

In that case, should it even be a matter of such fierce debate if one Black actor portrays Cleopatra after a string of white ones?

Maybe because, I don’t know, Amir wants his country’s history accurately presented and doesn’t want to just pretend the period of ~300 years when they were ruled by a dynasty of Greeks didn’t happen.

Sources say The Root is almost done with Why Are We Singling Out Jonathan Majors for Something [White Celebrity From 30 Years Ago] Did?”

It really feels like they’re taking the wrong criticism here. It isn’t that the VFX looked bad, it’s that I didn’t like that environment. Whoever did what did a fine job of it I just think it looks like candycrush nonsense in a film where there isn’t a lot of real world thing to latch on to (Scott just saved the

I read comments like this and I always think “Man. I’m so glad my bar isn’t that low.”

Odie-ous. Sadly, this kind of thing has become the new Nermal.

This response is off the top of my head so feel free to poke holes in what I’m about to say.

Booksmart wasn’t a good film and you should’ve seen this coming from miles away. Get ready for Spiderwoman next.

Do real people seriously watch Only Murders in the Building for the mystery and story?  I’m in it specifically for the celebrity cameos, Steve Martin/Martin Short doing funny bits and Selena Gomez holding her own with 2 seasoned pros.  The story is a distant 2nd or 3rd.

These are the Emmy’s, not the Kids’ Choice Awards.

They’re going to choose the ones their extensive market research has shown to be the most popular
