@tineras: If it were staff members from Hooters giving the pat-downs I don't think anyone would have a problem...

@tfskora: since posting that comment part of my recommendation was changed so obviously it was noticed...

His rants about this were great.

@ian.g.case: A movie? That was a true story... All the same, I guess I should have used the #sarcasm tag...

The argument about repeat scans seems good to me, but the argument about them being pilots and not needing to be screened for only that reason isn't. Haven't they seen Catch Me If You Can? Everyone thought he was a pilot but he really wasn't...

I think what bothers me most about all this is the constant denial by the government of anything being a problem. This, the lost control over nukes that recently happened, everything is always fine and nothing to worry about... I don't think they should go around acting chaotic or afraid, but damn a little more would

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: You're right, nothing is 100%... I think the problem is that, like I said, it is either the new scan or a groping, and no other options. I don't think this would be made in to as big of a deal if there were people who were refusing the new scan then being processed through metal

Airlines are not required to have TSA screenings...

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: This is a false sense of security, and more just a scare tactic... If a terrorist wants to blow up a plane these scanners won't stop them...

@MarcusMaximus: He is technically being sued for leaving the security area, not for refusing to be screened... Still ridiculous though...

In related news, here is a video of the TSA trying to perform their search on a child...

@CowPieSoup: They don't have to be exact to be referencing the group (although all of their right hands pretty much do line up).... Check every other blog out there and you will see many people are puting their money on it being The Beatles catalog...

@Le SenorNinja: Sure they would. There has been a big deal made about the fact that they can't get The Beatles on iTunes so it isn't far fetched to think they would hype the fact that they finally have it...

@MikeMcKenzy: I agree completely. This is just what I think it will be...

@Morgan King: It is a shot of the Apple site and The Beatles Help! album cropped together... Just to show the similarity...
