There’s a phrase I’ve come to start using that I feel encapsulates this. It’s a sort of... performative misery. Like it’s important that everyone sees not only how bad something is (in one’s subjective opinion) but how utterly it ruined your life with its minor quibbles.


As far as I’m concerned buying this and then playing the emulated version is morally correct.

I get why it doesn’t play well for people, but “awful” and “disaster” are both way too extreme for the level of this problem from where I’m standing. “Serviceable but predictably disappointing” is how I see it.

Contempt is the key to a quality insult.

The tiling definitely looks like an issue but I’m struggling to give any craps about the fonts. Not what I would have chosen but meh, whatever.
