Any idea if changing from “products” to “services” has any impact on their obligations to consumers? My guess is No, but I’m not really basing that on anything.

And I’m happy to wait for those editions to come out. Especially since it seems as though stand alone DLC doesn’t go on sale. Year old DLC (or older) for the stand alone edition of a game can cost more than the ultimate edition of the same game with everything included.

I’m with you. If a game’s going to try and sell me hundreds of dollars of DLC, I’m just going to wait until there’s a complete edition at a discounted cost.
