Yeah I was doing some research on the beginning of the dark Jedi/sith and then what was still canon, there are around 7 books that are canon now, only 1 set after episode 6 and then the force awakens novel. I’d love to see the darksaber in live action as its still canon

Your partly right, one of the new canon novels (star wars rebels adult novel) contains cortosis bringing it back into canon but its not lightsaber proof anyway just resistant

I’ve actually ordered this book, the force awakens visual dictionary and a few of the old visual dictionarys, I used to love looking at them in school especially the lightsaber cutaways

There have always been lightsaber resistant /lightsaber proof materials, the only one in canon at the moment is cortosis,

I did. The lightsaber fights were much better, the planets and cities were grander, overall it was more impressive. Plus there was 3 lightsabers in the original trilogy.....3!
