There’s nothing wrong with asking a legitimate scientific question without first shitting on the guy’s achievement that was your opening sentence.

Not even a mention of Noob-Noob. That guy gets it.

F*** you, sir.

I think Lexx rather deserves some credit too. Lexx was the weirdest sci-fi ever to grace the small screen, and features a giant living ship as the protagonists’ vessel.

Of course, we also have to factor in Blake’s 7... whose storyline, I suspect, Farscape borrows more than a little from.

Basically, Farscape is Blake’s 7

There’s a contingent of sci-fi fans that won’t watch shows like that because “science-fiction is supposed to be serious”. A friend of mine is like that, he didn’t like the original Star Trek because they occasionally joked around with each other. I don’t understand people like that, who want their sci-fi to be deadpan

Funny Story - back in 2006 at my school we had 3 teams for the senior projects and one team made a magical spell based fighting game that they called Grimoire. 3 months in - that guy was sending them cease and desists and threatening them with lawyers. They changed their name, because it was easier and he seemed very

“Weird” is why I watched it!

I loved Farscape specifically because it was weird! It went, well, beyond what you’d expect.

The weirdness was what worked best for me. That and the gorgeous Muppets.

Farscape is easily one of the most underrated science fiction shows of the last 20 years. In fact he might have taken more lessons from it on showing how a group of dissimilar people become a family.

uhm, back in spain the only oil that we use in the kitchen is olive oil, and I’ve never heard of not being safe to heat it too much.

July 7 can’t get here soon enough!

it deserves to be discussed among the better films in the MCU

I don’t have any trust issue with my back button on my Android phone though... And I definitely find it very, very useful.

I really want to like this movie, since it promises to be something new and different. However, what I’ve read of the original comics has not been encouraging. Maybe it’s bad translation, but the dialogue seems horribly stilted, the frame compositions are cluttered and overly full of text. Oh, and pretty sexist.

I know this movie is being looked at as “the second coming”, but it looks like the next Jupiter Ascending to me.

Fingers crossed for more Negasonic.

I want to watch this. But I also do not want to watch this.

That’s... Actually a pretty dope art style. Almost feels like a waste that it’s only being used for avatars, I would watch a Pixar flick with characters like these.
