Like, I straight up don’t get it. Timed exclusivity of their first party content is the ideal way to go.

I cannot imagine the mindscape of the person that this would bother.

Oh god, what I would give for more of this!

*A smile spreads slowly across Miyazaki’s face

One Albinauric run nets you more than that, it’s straight up trolling

Can we stop calling this “rune farming”? It’s griefing or trolling.

I mean Radahn was considered the most powerful person in Elden Ring lore.

Jesus. I tackled Radahn after the nerf, and I still got my ass kicked a few dozen times, even with summoning all the NPC's. Eventually had to lean on a summoned player to get through it. Can't imagine how it could've been any harder.

oh man, I fought him last Friday and took me a good 10 tries before I sorta got gud at avoiding his attacks. I’m kinda glad I did it during the nerf? My lvl 67 Astrologer wouldn’t probably last long enough without it haha.

Nothing ever happens.

You’re really going to do that, huh? A game comes out that’s actually-brilliant, not the usual Ubisoft trashfire, and you’re going to shit on them for engaging with it heavily?

I’m not sure what Miyazaki’s obsession with this type of world is, but he could stand to stretch his legs a bit, if I’m being honest.”

That’s not a bug, that’s supposed to happen: it’s why the Soap exists.

Yes, this 100+ hour multi-platform game with minor stuttering on one platform and zero game-breaking bugs was “unfinished and riddled with bugs”

Church of Vows! It should bring the npcs you killed back so hopefully no ng+ needed! :D

ultrawide is not a standard.

Umm yeah, but the game drops 3 frames on PS5. It’s a fail. My numbers told me and it’s the law. Umm yeah... Play the PS4 version. I said so. Umm yeah...

Whenever I use an elevator, I just step back on the button as I leave it so it resets for my next inevitable death.

I think the open world format really suits the souls-like gameplay. You can invest as much or as little time as you want in any particular boss, since being overleveled always ends up making the fight trivial

I think you just explained it: The Elden Ring stutters only happen in the open world, something that Dark Souls 3 didn’t really have. All of the legacy dungeons in Elden Ring are designed like areas in Dark Souls 3.
