Agreed completely. My weapons and armor are actually special to me. I have an “ancient knight” look I’ve curated perfectly.

Yeah, not touching this without a full list of games.

More like the Woker, am I right?

Yeah, I could not care less about this movie.

Yeah, “injured” is kind of loaded in the headline.

Yeah I try to give this stuff a grain of salt because I feel like there’s so many goddamn dogwhistles now I just assume I’ve probably done one by accident at some point.

It’s become a very dangerous line, the waistline.

Eh, these guys kidnapped and killed her shipwrecked friends with no provocation. She then either defended herself or tried to rescue her friends. Painting this as a morally-gray story is disingenuous at best.

It’s a good bit of writing advice I once received: “Don’t point out a crack in the vase if you can’t fix it.”

Yeah, I’m not super interested in this phase of pop culture where we insist that everything must devour itself.

This is fascinating, thanks for posting this.

I’m not saying I don’t understand Connor, or why he didn’t take a side.

Agreed. They put Conner on Paul Revere’s ride and had you command the troops . . . except your character didn’t care about either of those things. It felt especially like shoe-horning because Conner didn’t give a shit about the Revolution.

It was such a waste of material. The tree climbing stuff was amazing, as was the hatchet and the combat and the whole look of it. But they should have embraced the setting.

Ah, the “so uncool it’s cool again” thing.

Agreed completely.

no you

Comedic exaggeration, my friend. You should spend less time pearl clutching and more time laughing.

Yeah, this article made me realize we’re actually out of problems.
