I honestly don't really see a practical purpose to pursuing this story as far as you did, much less any further. Except possibly the exercise in journalism, which I guess I can appreciate (even though I don't find this story that captivating).

Buick's target audience for this car was pretty clear, what with them naming the car after the average age of the aforementioned audience.

He's in his 20s, she's not 18 yet.

They are. They're just under a different company name, since he didn't want to release a very different (aesthetically) version alongside the original.

They used to be neighbors, back when he was less fortunate. She still lives in the same neighborhood, and he has helped her out in other ways. I'm sure there'd be more complaining if he was flaunting that.

I don't know where you're getting your numbers from, but he has a variety of apps (one of which is called 5-0 Radio Police Scanner, which was among the most downloaded "news" apps for a long time). He claimed in his Reddit AMA that there are over 10 million users of his apps.

What is he really gaining from this? A few thousand views on his video, which translate into a few dollars? Does that make any sense, financial or otherwise? He's not even showing his face or revealing his name.

Seeing something so rare, especially if you have some sort of love for cars, evokes silly emotions in people.

The money he made from that app (and others) was ad money. There is a free version of the police scanner app, and the ads in that version (which was downloaded many more times than the paid version, and was among the most downloaded apps for a good period of time) made him a lot more money. Also, I don't know why you

In case you were judging the owner of the car by the license plate...

This one might not count.

The wheels on the 4C are also worth considering.

I've always fancied Koengisegg's telephone dial wheels. No one seems to have mentioned them yet, and it'd be a pity if they weren't even nominated.

According to the Huffington Post, CNN and MSNBC aired the same uncensored clip containing the victim's name.

OK, that's understandable, although I'm fairly certain Porsche's have paddles on the steering wheel.

What was the shot at about 0:17 of the driver allegedly messing with the "shifter" supposed to be showing? I mean, if they're eliminating the manual with the purpose of speed in mind, why would a driver on the track not use the paddles exclusively?

Porsche seem adamant that this is more fun.

Here's a Porsche guy explaining why the PDK in this GT3 is more fun than a manual. Worth a watch.

But does it also have a mustache holder? It might miss out on a segment of the market if it doesn't.
