As someone who is a citizen of a country where socialism has been overwhelmingly successful, I’ve never understood why it’s been considered the boogieman in the States.

I agree with your comments about ingrained social values are. That said, I might point out that preening for the opposite sex is performed by both genders and many species and by itself is not inappropriate. And I’ll grant I was being a bit flippant at the end there.

I do not believe this to be the case. She has partnered up with right-wing politicians whose xenophobic policies harm everyone. Also she lied (by her own admission) to gain citizenship while wishing to deny legitimate citizenship to those from her native country.
