Wow Mike, I completely missed your writing about your accident. I’m very glad to see you back here and that you’re still able to game. You've always been my favorite writer here. 

I’ve ‘quit’ WoW before The Burning Crusades, then again during Wrath of the Lich King, then after Mists of Panderia, and most recently during Legion.

My guess is they applied for tourist visas or some visa waivers, which absolutely is not the type of visa you need to come here to do the type of promotion work it sounds like they will be doing.

I’ll just point this out here because I’m sure other people are going to attempt to say the same thing and because you’ve posted something directly from the source:

Citizens of several countries can absolutely enter the USA with a waiver for business but not for WORK. I am fully aware that this might be a confusing…

I’m not disagreeing with this; I’m very sympathetic. I’m just pointing out that this processes is not specific to the Trump era, nor to the United States.

By my moral beliefs, political positions, and social worldview, it is totally wrong. That said, it was wrong far before Trump was elected.

If I tried to enter a country on a tourist visa and they determined I was there for business, this is exactly what I would expect to happen.  Not sure why anyone is acting like this was unexpected or out of the ordinary.   

Im no fan of Trump, but this exact thing would have happened under Obama. These rules have been in place for decades. You cant enter the country with the wrong Visa. Nothing mysterious about this. Basically their paperwork was wrong.

Fudgesicles I was wrong. There was something on Sky’s website a little while back that some kind of record had been broken or met, but I guess I misremembered it into what I posted above.
