He's kind of the archetype of a certain kind of actor. No personality of his own, flows through life without a blemish or scratch, emotional or physical. His acting always struck me that way too. Funny how that works.
I read him as kind of sad and overwhelmed by his fame. Smug is often what shyness looks like from the outside.
Oh don't take me so seriously, I'm just feeling bitchy right now. Its possible I've loved Chris Squire's bass playing longer than you've been alive sonny (and its possible I have not as well).
:(
Indeed.
Heh heh. I just saw your comment. Same albums as mine :).
The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge. Start with those.
Oh well, it wasn't like he was gonna write anymore great songs. His life ended like 30 years ago as far as I'm concerned.
Maybe if I had a few of those I'd still have a job, if only for the after worked pissed off listening experience.
Modern Love compels me to re-enact scenes from high school, and that makes me feel like dead.
All I need is a little encouragement.
I can keep doing this all day.
Goolius Boozler.
L'Carpetron Dookmarriot!
EVL's and Miss Lindsey Graham do not buy wholesale, sah!
Whatevs. Keillor's schtick is tired and boring. Just like much of middle America.
Wow, he is a serious shitheel: http://www.salon.com/2009/1….
THIS.
In Mike Nelson's Death Rat! Keillor is mercilessly mocked. In one scene his stand in character is at an outdoor summer party and refused to remove his cableknit sweater and captain's hat, passing out from heat exhaustion for the sake of faux rustic fashion sense. Great book.
