Strickland is a total goon, yes.
Why does everyone just assume Harper is an asshole, plus this isn’t the first time that douchebag Strickland has thrown at him.
Strickland is a goon.
Japanese guy wins a race and this guy clutches his Pearl Harbors.
I feel the same way about the Dodgers.
The is the film that Brock Osweiler was talking about when he said he could start for Cleveland.
And it’s not even the correct call. He wasn’t trying to hit the pitch, so it’s not an attempt
Lesson for the kids out there: Don’t try to make baseball fun.
I think you’re missing a key element of the hypothetical: you have to return the serve in bounds, whereas the pitch you only have to put in play. I feel much better about my chances of dribbling a 100MPH fastball back to Chapman than my chances of putting a 155MPH (!!) serve both over the net and in bounds.
Drew agrees with you.
It was obviously Gisele. You get used to a fancy dog licking your ass clean and you’ll never stoop to double-ply Charmin again.
I don’t think his friend was sober enough to recognize a supermodel, that was probably a run o’ the mill headpiece-wearing boob-having intoxicated festival-goer.
I once saw Vlad Guerrero swing at a ball that a 5 year old fan was holding in the stands. Got a triple
Hawk’s a dumbass but it’s incredible for Stone to uncritically advance the “Latin guys swing at EVERYTHING” stereotype when you call games for a team that plays against noted Dominican and plate discipline king Carlos Santana 19 times a year.
Unless Wixley asked him to keep it quiet. I think the correct thing to do is apologize in private, to demonstrate sincerity and then see where the offended party wants to take it. That’s how I’d have handled it.
It’s almost like Bennett thought the actual apology was more important than the public appearance of an apology. That sure sounds more mature than this doofus.
“Sure, there is still a part of me that wonders why Bennett kept [the apology] private. If he is serious about being a role model, I feel like it would have been in his best interest to show his contrition to the world...”
