the blade is smaller than your hand so it's ok to pass through

Does anyone actually go on enough picnics to warrant the price of those things? I'm just asking because they seem awkwardly small, especially for people like me with massive hands. Also why wouldn't you just throw some silverware in the picnic basket while you're packing it? I feel like you can make anything nowadays

Honestly I think your brand snobbery is showing. How much do you think the Hyundai badge is affecting your predisposition? If you saw these features in a Mercedes, would you really be focusing so much on the obvious negatives of a luxury car? Light, numb handling is what luxury cars have. They're heavy and meant to be

Who would buy this car? I'll tell you who. People looking for VALUE. I'm guessing most of the negative posters on here have no idea the incredible amount of tech and luxury is crammed into this vehicle. Oh, and let's not forget about the concierge maintenance program and the best warranty offered anywhere. This

"Alright, I'm gonna make a left onto this road, here's a guy coming up from the left, after he passes I'll have a window behind him to... is he slowing down? AUGH HE TURNED and now the guy behind him caught up! If only there were a way to easily tell if her were turning!"

Since NJ canned their safety inspections, I've seen the formerly elusive high-mount only brake light variant on a daily occurrence. Then I starting seeing the formerly ultra-rare all-brake-lights-out variant and decided that safety inspections aren't such a bad idea after all.

I don't like them either but the fact remains that they have been proven effective.

Airbags do not deploy in small fender benders. They shouldn't, anyway. I was rear-ended a couple months ago by a Civic and neither of our airbags deployed. Their radiator, bumper, and a quarter panel were destroyed.

Have to disagree on this one. There have been many situations where I was able to anticipate a sudden stop because I could see the CHMSL of the vehicle ahead of the one I was following, giving me much more warning that a stop was imminent. It can be particularly helpful in busy highway situations where people

Yeah, the 30% reduction in head-on collisions isn't worth having daytime running lights...

So you'll just break your neck in a hard collision instead.

Ya because racecars have a cage, helmet, and hopefully some form of HANS type device.

They aren't mandatory, I promise.

but they look sooooo baller.

Yeah, I have to disagree here. But I didn't think they were mandatory in the US anyways.

That's actually a good one. It's effective in getting people to recognize brake lights, and makes it so if one of the tail lights is out you don't mistake the person hitting the brakes as a turn signal.

The GM ones do this, actually. The GM ones are especially great for auto crossing. You can pull up the pressures in the cluster and see how much the pressure has built up between runs to know what you need to do without checking them with a gauge.

I appreciate lovely bodywork as much as anyone but if those regulations are actually increasing pedestrian safety, designers should find their way around them.
If the shitty Fiat sedan that hit my grandfather 15 years ago would not have killed him today, thanks to these regulations, I'd gladly take a "raised belt line".

I wish the TPMS was a diagram showing all 4 tires and indicated which tire was the issue. Nothing quite as much fun as checking all 4 tires in the dead of winter.

Sure, make fun of the Smart Fortwo being required to have a backup camera... but look what happened when this one accidentally backed over a large squirrel:
