One of my departed father’s favorite sayings was, “Quit fiddle-fucking around!” And now I can’t see a picture of Oberyn without thinking that very sentiment.

The Doctor, specifically the Twelfth Doctor. The new series has taken too much power away from the Doctor. In their effort to show his flaws or explore the meaning of his character, a lot of his strengths were removed and he’s more of a side character. Just look at how often he’s thrown around in series 8. He’s

This truly isn’t outrageous.

Yeah, except Josie and the Pussycats is kind of great. Alan Cumming and Parker Posey? Pre-fame Rosario Dawson? Lightly subversive anti-commercialism? Yes to all, and a few times now.

“Josie and the Pussyacts” is actually a pretty good film. Haters to the left!

I vote for Jane Austen. Take the big proposal scene from Emma....”What did she say? Why just what She ought, of course. A lady always does.”

Iron Man. Landing like this at the speeds we see him do it on screen would liquify poor Stark.

A few years back I wished a happy mother’s day to mom (deceased) mom’s first cousins, and they wished ME one because I’m a pet parent to my cat. Which I laughed at because that’s insane. (Yes, my cat is totally my baby and we have a co-dependent relationship, but I’m not totally crazy to expect mother’s day
