We don’t know if he was handcuffed for his protection or actually arrested. It’s just newscaster sensationalism.
He didn’t arrest himself, did he?
And you’re sounding like an upset Rangers fan. Biases are fun!
The pure dejection in Eddie Olczyk’s voice whenever Tampa scores is enough for me. Might as well let Boomer Esiason in the booth for NBC — he’ll be just as impartial as Olczyk/McGuire have been.
You mean the movie who’s one star is an avid Islanders fan and made a 30 for 30 about the Islanders? Also as someone who enjoys the Tampa Bay offensive game compared to the previous 2 series of 2-1 games from the Rags I really don’t need more reasons to root against them
As opposed to 95% of other men who _totally aren’t_ right? I mean, that guy with the turtleneck always scorns people who find 17 or 18 year old girls physically attractive!
No intelligent Sixers fan thought that was the case. And pretty much nobody who watched MCW play for over a year thought that he was going to amount to anything more than a middling PG. He does nothing well, he’s already too old to expect that league worst jump shot to fix itself, and yet Hinkie STILL GOT A TOP 3…
Now he’s the Bucks’ problem and we have the Lakers’ 1st round pick.
Don’t forget Dario Saric. Robert Covington, Tony Wroten, Jerami Grant, Furkan Aldemir and Hollis Thompson are all quality NBA role players to varying degrees. Plus the Sixers will likely have 3 or 4 first round picks in next year’s draft to play with. This team isn't really the dumpster fire everyone wants them to be.
I wouldn’t be surprised. I was just saying the draft lottery didn’t exactly screw them in some karmic way like the article implies.
This is like one looooong Family Guy jokes that isn’t clever or funny, but where you could see the writers thinking it was getting funnier with every extra bit they added.
Does LeBron count as changing a team’s fortunes? Tim Duncan (even though Robinson was still there)?
In a draft where there are two consensus top big men and two consensus top guards, the Sixers, who need guards more than frontcourt help, got pick #3 behind two teams that need frontcourt help. And if one of those teams does picks one of the guards the Sixers covet, there is a consensus top 2 big man waiting. Yeah,…
didn’t MCW score 2 points in the most important game (gm 7) of his career.
The 6ers are probably actually better off at #3 than anywhere else. With Noel and Embiid, they certainly don’t need to be drafting any more centers, which leaves Russell or Mudiay, who they likely would’ve been targeting anyway.
They can't find minutes for a SG who shoots 39% and 29% from three. What were the Sixers thinking trading that away?!?! You're talking about a team whose bench consists of whoever doesn't start between Jones/Smith, Corey Brewer, and a 38 year old PG.
A guy so good he doesn't play for the team that traded for him!
You take that logic and reason and gtfo! The sisters should try to be contenders, like the Knicks and Lakers!
I like their plan of stock piling players and draft assests. 2-3 years the team in Philly will be solid.
