is the chair replacable? how about some antique?
i remember IBM had a desktop keyboard with a trackpoint in the middle. i'd like something like that but in new ultrasleek form and stuff. i still love to use it on my father's 5 year old Thinkpad.
Grab life by the balls
the new Office 2007 (which you can download the beta of for free) has some pretty nifty stylesheets with all sorts of fonts and color sets. pretty neat. and you could always get your company identity designed professionally. no advertising for myself intended :P
omg that is like a totally new and exciting feature - i would have said in 1999 when Win ME came out. you can do that with iTunes too, did you know that?
my only problem with [dictionary.com] is that you have to click on the textbox each time after you type in the address
i've been using macs at school and at home on my sister's computer to do some mac-convenient stuff such as quick-cutting home movies. my primary computer has always been a PC, but i'm planning to get a MacBook (Pro, maybe) to use for my everyday needs, with windows installed. any tips for macindows apps? i mean…
my best trick on a crowded bus / bench / wherever you want a seat:
yay. that's something needed. only if there was like a $10 dollar/year account... then only REAL programmers and designers would take use of it, apart from noobs
i want to switch but can't. can't because at the moment i dont believe my money would worth a macbook. yes, it has a built in camera, yes, it has bluetooth/wlan, yes, it has optical audio out (which i need when i'm at home watching a dvd lets say. tell me please if it's not that optical out.) and the one thing above…
doesnt each carrier have their own area codes? :S i'm behind the us of a, sorry. hungary has that. and incoming calls are free. and my plan allows me to call any network for the same price. hihi.
i can see world of warcraft people scratching themselves 24/7
Nemo: no. it's the fact that i could get a core 2 duo at the same price (at least here in Hungary). btw i want a macbook. the things that are holding me back is the compatibility issues with my current hardware (which is now solved with Bootcamp. but then again, i can't use that nifty webcam in windows). so i'm saying…
Nemo: concerning your post script - 3rd party apps do add value to the system. being able to play games on a PC makes it more valuable for people who need it. having widgets on a Mac make it more valuable for those people who need it. it DOES count. and yes, i want to change to mac, but i just don't feel my money…
appe's image is just too hip to be damaged... even though it's clear that Cupertino steals too, none of the fanboys admit. bad apple, bad...
stationery = html emails = useless crap people played around with in Outlook 2000
thank you lifehacker for giving me one more good app.
oh no, i can see mac fanboys attacking this space now
It's obvious that it's manipulated... sorry it is... how could XP get 7 on video editing while X got 1? And there are some other glitches as well. Plus, you just can't compare the availability of 3rd party stuff for both OS's, which depending on the needs, could change everything. it's like comparing dogs to cats.
