I agree with you, but I could also see this being framed in a ‘well it’s his story, too, and surely he should be allowed to tell his own story’. Using better judgment, I think he should have chosen to keep this private since he claims so much respect and love for Will/Jada; he can’t have it both ways b/c blasting this

It’s a reservoir and there are fully grown trees under the water, among other natural structures.

I try to tell people this as a former lifeguard, too, and people tend to act like I’m being a buzzkill for saying it. If you MUST jump off of something into unknown water, for example, ease yourself into the water with some goggles on and thoroughly explore the area you’ll be jumping into. If visibility is too poor,

Not to be a scaremonger b/c I personally love being in the water, but I’ll just add this. My step-father used to regularly take his grandson fishing in a canoe just the two of them. This spanned my step-father’s late 50s and early 60s while his grandson was 4-10 years old. My step-father has been fishing from boats

A lemon twist seems more intuitive, acid is definitely needed in that mix of ingredients, but an olive seems like too much of a departure. I love olives but yuck.

You said you know it wasn’t my intention, so I suppose you didn’t need to feel defensive about what I said and I don’t need to clarify that in no way did I lump all young professional parents in upper middle class suburbs together. I’m saying that’s the situation with our 2 at their mom’s house. This is a big country,

Hopefully some smart people somewhere are looking into educational models that can be used in times like these b/c obviously this isn’t over and I’m sure there will be other pandemics in the future. Or heck even if one school has some kind of outbreak and it’d be best to do remote learning for awhile. Or a school

I work in animal agriculture, and I think one major thing is being misunderstood in both this and the Vox article. It sounds like the authors are saying that small farms want to give their animals a more comfortable, humane life and large farms aren’t concerned with that. And that these buyers with lots of leverage

Some of us won’t compromise animal welfare, so we figure out how to do both. It’s not perfect, but I’m not sure there is a perfect way to raise animals as food sources. But some ways are unquestionably better than others. However, you can’t get everyone to agree on what animal welfare measures are good enough. Our

As of right now, my SO’s kids are planning to be in school in the fall, though I suspect there may be some staggered schedule or something. We’re lucky in that both of their parents are able to work from home, so they’re with us one week and then with their mom for a week and repeat. They go to a very good school but

A green olive seems like a very strange garnish for a Venetian Spritz.

Australians like country music (I mean, some of them).

S’mores ice cream and s’mores cheesecake are also excellent options.

Roasted banana is a great idea!

Oooh the instant coffee addition sounds great.

Love the orange flower honey idea! Hot honey could be good, too.

What a great idea!

We do Nutella.

Normally I go for a complex craft beer, but for really light, refreshing beer, I’ve been loving LightSky by Blue Moon.

I drink sparkling water all day, every day and I don’t like hard seltzer (Gen X fwiw) for the same reason - that chemical taste which I assume is from the artificial sweetener. There are plenty of people who don’t like it.
