Minivan Burnouts, Its a thing

I generally don’t mind any of these cars, beyond the ecosport which I find hilariously dumb looking. The thing to remember with the ecosport is that it is primarily an international market vehicle, but filled a gap for Ford in the US so they brought it over.

I bought a new (to me) car in may, looked all over craigslist for my relatively low budget, with my main focuses being around ~$5k or less, manual, and decent practicality + gas mileage. Couldn’t find anything. Went on FB Marketplace and found a lower mileage Matrix with a clean title and in good condition (though the

I saw a bright yellow Vehicross today and was so excited. Someone in our area owns two: one black, one yellow.

As many others are saying, just get a matrix . I picked up a ‘09 Matrix S with 92k for $4200 in May and it’s been flawless. Did some maintenence and driven it 10k since then and all over the country without any issue. One thing of note is the 2.4l does consume some oil (mine has been managable), but most Toyotas do it

For VW (Automaker and Group) wanting to pivot to EVs, they’re certainly off to a poor start with the e-tron and the Taycan.

I’ve also thought of this as well, as until recently I drove an old (97) t&c. Even with the old 3.8 and a 4speed that baby could light the tires and fill the car with smoke if one wanted to go that far. If I was a rich man I would’ve put a pentastar and the 8speed along with it into that thing and droven it until the

I’ve also thought that many times especially as the weight difference in a pickup is going to be negligible and the gains in torque would be amazing for a pickup.

I’m excited to see this myself. I put a set of Nokian WRG4's on my car over the summer and they’ve been killer in rain and great out on the highway (also averaging almost 30mpg over 8k+ miles). We just got our first good snow so I’m looking to see how they do.

Looks like a great buy for those who want one. Also, the Duramax Colorado/Canyon have to be some of the slowest vehicles I’ve ever driven. This is coming from a man who drove a 90's minivan on the daily for years and worked at a shop that serviced everything from crappy old subies and GM products to G550's and

I think there was a time for unions and I’m glad they existed, but I think the time has passed (at least in the US, can’t speak to Europe as my knowledge is very limited). Let the feds get involved a little (or a new union group) and get rid of the disaster that is the UAW.

The jobs were less secure” and yet... the factory is still open and humming unlike the many “unallocated” and shuttered plants that were union in the past.

Enclave is a bad idea, the enclave/Traverse/Acadia have so many problems it's hard to even begin. Timing chains that stretch, suspension that's siezes, oil leaks and consumption, etc. They are nice cars, but around 100k they start to fall apart.

Absolute CP. We just picked up an ‘02 soft top Sport with the 4.0 and 5 speed. Came already (properly) lifted and on newer bfg k02s for a hair over 5k. Still not exactly a highway cruiser, but it can at least move, I can only imagine what that 4cyl is like.

Anti drunk driving tech sounds great, until you realize someone could just drive an older car and avoid it all together.

I switched to a HP 14 x360 chromebook about 6 months ago from a Samsung Chromebook 3, and though I love Googles design on the Go, I’d take the HP any day. Convertible, a full i3 instead of an m3, and usually on sale for ~399, it’s a winner.

Trucks are just legitimately the easiest, most comfortable vehicles to drive on the road right now. Even the last gen ones drive great. My bosses all have ‘14 F150 XLT’s (All crew-cab 4x4, 2 5.0 and 1 EB). Even with cloth seats, and being  a mid-level model they are so quiet and the miles just roll past.

I feel bad if Ford warranties this. These trucks eat strut assemblies and upper ball joints like no tomorrow with leveling kits due to the extreme angles.

I saw one for the first time this weekend, in Ohio of all places, and think it’s pretty sweet. While yet, not absolutely gargantuan, it still does have a presence in traffic unlike most of the vehicles around it.

I'm seeing promasters everywhere after it was chosen by our local Amazon delivery service.

I drive a naturally aspirated, 4 cylinder, compact car that’s 10 years old. The best tank I’ve ever managed (yet) was 30.5mpg on straight highway driving. I agree.
